Dynamic Classifier Retrofit
In November 2005, Loesche GmbH was contracted to design, supply and install five trial dynamic classifiers for Tilbury Power Station, Essex, England.
The pre-conversion Mean Rosin Rammler Slope was 49.4°, rising to 58.8° post conversion (2006).
After successfully passing the guarantee conditions, Loesche Energy Systems was awarded the subsequent contracts for units 8 & 10 (five dynamic classifiers per unit).
Unit 8 installation was successfully completed in June 2007 with unit 10 scheduled for completion in October.
