Dynamic Classifier Retrofit
In May 2005, Loesche Energy Systems were contracted to design and supply a pair of dynamic classifiers for Tahkoluoto and Vaskiluoto Power Station, Finland.
The pre-conversion Mean Rosin Rammler Slope was 40.8°, moving up to 58.5° post conversion (2007).
After these classifiers had successfully passed the guarantee conditions, Loesche Energy Systems was awarded the subsequent contracts for six dynamic classifiers for Tahkoluoto and Vaskiluoto power stations (three for each station).
The initial trial dynamic classifier installations were successfully completed in January 2007 with the main contract scheduled for completion at the end of the year.
